The automatic performance increase depends on sufficient cooling and your application's usage of just one core or both cores. So far, we liked the qualities of HP's ProBook 5330m rather well and we had hoped this would continue with the display. But the first glance at our measurements provides a different picture. The brightness of the display leaves a lot to be desired. A maximum of 150 cd/m² is not acceptable in a 2011 model. An average brightness of just 134.8 cd/m² is bested even by much cheaper netbooks. The automatic performance increase depends on sufficient cooling and your application's usage of just one core or both cores.
